ITC (Ink Tank Cleaner) Kennen Tech: cleaner for tanks, lines, dampers and valves of continuous ink systems for Epson, Brother, HP and generic printers.
Compatible with all water-based inks: photo, dye, pigment, DTF, DTG, sublimation and SUB DYE. A gentle but effective cleaner.
Three uses
- Ink change: switch from one ink type to another, even if they are not compatible with each other.
- Maintenance: removes the sediment that builds up in continuous systems, fittings, lines and dampers after long use.
- Recovery and start-up: removes settled residue of old ink in machines that have been idle, even for years.
How often to clean
- Factory systems with dye or photo ink: every 3 years.
- Add-on systems with dye or photo ink: every 2 years.
- All systems with pigment ink: every year.
- All systems with textile inks (SUB DYE, DTF and DTG): every 6 months.
Frequencies based on using premium inks in continuous systems with anti-return valves (dampers).
How to use
- Empty the ink circuit.
- Fill with ITC Kennen Tech.
- Let it rest half an hour if it is just for an ink change, or 24 hours for a deep cleaning of the circuit and its parts.
- On models that let you force the flow from the opposite end, circulate the ITC with a syringe. On those that do not, you can fill the circuit by creating vacuum with a Kennen filling and cleaning adapter.
- Empty the circuit again.
- Fill with the new ink. For a factory continuous system, follow the printer manufacturer's procedure; for an add-on system, the system supplier's.
Sizes
- 250 ml, 500 ml or 1 liter.
It is part of the Kennen Tech maintenance line, together with Super Cleaner for the printhead and Dr. Capping for the cleaning station.
