The cartridges cost you much less than buying them separately. With 3 cartridges you get ink for about 2,400,000 characters of 2 × 2 mm; with 5, about 4,000,000. No production stops for running out of ink.
Production and expiry dates, batch and serial numbers, barcodes, QR codes, text and simple logos. Glide it over the surface like a stamp and edit on the touchscreen, no computer needed.
Cardboard, plastic, wood, metal, cables, pipes, glass and electronic components. Solvent ink dries fast and adheres to non-absorbent surfaces.
The combo comes with black cartridges. The M8800S cartridge also comes in white, blue, red, green and yellow, to print on dark packaging or tell batches apart.
How long will the combo's ink last? Each cartridge yields about 800,000 characters of 2 × 2 mm: about 2,400,000 with 3 cartridges and 4,000,000 with 5. Actual yield depends on the size and amount of text or codes you print.
Do spare cartridges dry out if unused? Keep them sealed in their packaging until use. And when you remove one from the printer, fit the acrylic protector so the printhead doesn't dry out.
Does it need a computer? No. Text and codes are edited on the printer's touchscreen.
