20W or 40W? Which one to choose

20W · Production engraving. The fastest for engraving (30,000 mm/min) with the finest spot, ideal for photos, logos and long runs. 400 × 410 mm working area. Air pump sold separately.

40W · Cutting. Twice the power, to cut thicker materials in fewer passes. Engraves up to 20,000 mm/min. 400 × 386 mm working area. Air pump included.

What's included

• Alpha MK2 20W: the engraver with its 20W laser module. No air pump.
• Alpha MK2 40W: the engraver with its 40W laser module + air pump.

For cutting we recommend the air pump: it gives cleaner, deeper cuts. If you choose the 20W, you can add it now or later.

Build your setup

These accessories are sold separately so you can add them when you need them: air pump (for the 20W), Honeycomb platform (flat support and cleaner cuts), rotary roller (for cups, tumblers and bottles), riser kit (for tall pieces) and smart enclosure with camera. Does it come with an air pump? The 40W does, included. For the 20W it's sold separately.

Do I need a computer? No. It works on its own from the touchscreen. If you prefer, it also works with the AlgoLaser app, LightBurn and LaserGRBL.

What care does it need? Use it in a ventilated area, as engraving and cutting produce smoke. Be careful with oily or resinous woods: they carry a high fire risk when cut.
