A combo to start laser engraving at home or in your workshop: the compact, ready-to-use Sculpfun C1 3W laser engraver, plus the Peel 01 protective enclosure with smoke extractor. The enclosure contains the laser light and the extractor sends the smoke outside through a hose, so you can work indoors safely.

What can you do with the C1?
It is a detail engraver: it engraves wood, leather, slate, kraft paper, natural leaves and colored acrylic with very fine detail, as well as metal cards like the ones included. It also cuts thin materials: at Kennen we tested it cutting paper, cardstock and fabric. What it does not do: it does not cut wood or acrylic, and it does not engrave bare metal. Sculpfun C1: small, precise and ready to use

• Comes assembled: take it out of the box and start engraving. It has limit switches on the X and Y axes for quick and safe homing.
• Fine detail: 0.04 × 0.04 mm laser spot for high-definition engravings.
• 150 × 130 mm working area in a 29 × 25 × 14 cm, 1.05 kg machine, with scales on the axes for precise positioning.
• Software: works with LaserGRBL (free, Windows only) and LightBurn (Windows and Mac, license sold separately, which we also sell).

Peel 01 enclosure with extractor

• Contains the laser light while engraving, for safer work.
• Smoke extractor with a 10 cm diameter, 1.25 m long hose to send smoke and odors outside.
• Size: 33 × 33 cm and 18 cm high, made to fit the Sculpfun C1.

Frequently asked questions

I have never used a laser, is it for me? Yes. It comes assembled, the free software is enough to get started and we support you via WhatsApp.

Can I use it indoors? With the enclosure and extractor, yes: the smoke goes out through the hose to a window and the laser light stays contained. We still recommend a ventilated room.

Does it cut? It cuts thin materials such as paper, cardstock and fabric. It is not designed to cut wood or acrylic: for that you need a higher-power machine.

Which materials should I avoid? Never engrave or cut PVC or materials containing it: they release toxic gases and damage the machine.

Does it work with Mac? Yes, with LightBurn (macOS 10.7 or later). LaserGRBL only works on Windows.
